DeCordova's Fourth Annual Sculpture Park Family Day

LINCOLN, MA-Keep the excitement of summer going by meeting your friends and family at DeCordova's Fourth Annual Sculpture Park Family Day! Rain or shine, DeCordova Museum and Sculpture Park will present a memorable day of live entertainment, hands-on art making, and fun and games for all ages.

Join us for a family-oriented afternoon in the Park! Participate in relay races, a water balloon toss, and art activities! Enjoy ice cream, popcorn, and lemonade! Be astounded and amazed by the magic of Bonaparte from 1 - 1:30 pm. Enjoy his strolling magic from 2 - 3 pm (www.bonapartemagic.com). From 1:30 - 2:20 pm, and 3 - 3:50 pm, sing along with the acoustic, bluegrass music of Ben Rudnick and Friends (www.benrudnickandfriends.com).

Admission is free for all DeCordova Members and Corporate Members. Non-Member general admission is $6; children age 2 and under are admitted free. Admission includes access to the Museum.

Reservations are required. Call 781/259-3629 or email membership@decordova.org. In case of rain, the event will be held inside the Museum.

General Information

DeCordova Museum is open Tuesday through Sunday, 11 am to 5 pm and on selected Monday holidays. Admission is $6 per person, $4 for senior citizens, students, and youth ages 6-12. Children age 5 and under, Lincoln residents, and Active Duty Military Personnel and their dependents are admitted free. The Sculpture Park is open year round during daylight hours and is free. The Store @ DeCordova and the School Gallery are open Monday through Thursday, 9:30 am to 7:30 pm, Friday through Saturday, 9:30 am to 5:30 pm, and Sunday 11:30 am to 5:30 pm. The Café @ DeCordova is open Wednesday through Sunday, 11 am to 3 pm. New Time: Free guided public tours of the Museum's main galleries take place every Thursday at 1 and Sunday at 2 pm as of October 2003. Free tours of the Sculpture Park are given on Saturday and Sunday at 1 pm from May to October. No Sculpture Park tours in August and September 2003 due to construction.
