DeCordova's Annual Benefit and Auction
Saturday, June 5, 2004, from 5:30 to 11 pm
LINCOLN, MAOn Saturday, June 5, 2004, share your passion for fine art at DeCordova's Gala event: The Annual Benefit and Auction! DeCordova will hold an art-filled evening with delicious food, lively dancing, and spirited bidding. Whether you are a seasoned collector or just beginning your pursuit of art and rare desirables; DeCordova provides a unique opportunity to bid on fabulous artwork, one-of-a-kind jewelry, beautiful accessories, and much more.
This sensational event raises funds for DeCordova's educational programming and exhibitions. Your support, through the purchase of a ticket, helps DeCordova to provide its Membersand the entire New England communitywith quality programs, including education and outreach programs, lecture and symposia, tours, educational collaborations, and exhibitions.
Tickets for this black-tie event are $225 (sponsor level) and $500 (Patron level) per person. Guests will participate in a formal sit-down dinner and Live Auction. This special black-tie dinner, catered by East Meets West, will be served under an elegant canopy. The meal leads the way to a Live Auction, presided over by Skinner, Inc., which features superb works of contemporary art, secluded vacation getaways, unique special events, and other delights.
After dinner dance the night away to the jazzy vocals of Wendee Glick. You will have the opportunity to bid on an extraordinary collection of items during the Silent Auction, which will take place throughout the evening. Over 250 items will await your bid in the Joyce and Edward Linde Gallery. Top quality artwork, wearable art, jewelry, gourmet food, and decorative crafts are just some of the items for sale.

General Information
DeCordova Museum is open Tuesday through Sunday, 11 am to 5 pm and on selected Monday holidays. Admission is $6 per person, $4 for senior citizens, students, and youth ages 6-12. Children age 5 and under, Lincoln residents, and Active Duty Military Personnel and their dependents are admitted free. The Sculpture Park is open year round during daylight hours and is free. The Store @ DeCordova and the School Gallery are open Monday through Thursday, 9:30 am to 7:30 pm, Friday through Saturday, 9:30 am to 5:30 pm, and Sunday 11:30 am to 5:30 pm. The Café @ DeCordova is open Wednesday through Sunday, 11 am to 3 pm. Free guided public tours of the Museum's main galleries take place every Thursday at 1 and Sunday at 2 pm.
