All Art All the Time: DeCordova’s Annual Benefit and Auction
Museum Galleries
Saturday, October 1, 2005 from 5:30 to 11:30 pm
LINCOLN, MA—On Saturday, October 1, share your passion for fine art at DeCordova’s Gala event, The Annual Benefit and Auction! DeCordova will hold an art-filled evening with delicious food, and spirited bidding. Whether you are a seasoned collector or just beginning your pursuit of art and rare desirables; DeCordova provides a unique opportunity to bid on museum-quality artwork, luxurious getaways, and much more.
This sensational event raises funds for DeCordova’s educational programming and exhibitions. Your support, through the purchase of a ticket, helps DeCordova to provide its Members—and the entire New England community—with quality programs, including education and outreach programs, lecture and symposia, tours, educational collaborations, and exhibitions.
Tickets for this black-tie event are $600 (Patron level) and $250 (Sponsor level) per person (all but $90 of each ticket is tax deductible). Tables for 10 are also available at pro-rated and intermediate levels. Guests will participate in a formal sit-down dinner and Live Auction. This special black-tie dinner, catered by East Meets West, will be served under an elegant canopy tent. The meal leads the way to a Live Auction, presided over by Skinner, Inc. CEO Karen Keane. Featured auction items include superb works of contemporary art, spectacular town and country vacation getaways, special organized events like upscale private parties and premier sporting attractions, and other delights.
After dinner listen to the music of Meredith Cooper. You will also have the opportunity to bid on an extraordinary collection of items during the all art Silent Auction. More than 90 items will be on offer, including juried artwork, gorgeous jewelry, plus decorative and wearable art
