Anette Millington

Anette Millington’s studio fosters creative engagement through artist projects, teaching, curriculum design and instructional design. Her work considers material-based inquiry, creative process and contemplation. Currently she is a part-time assistant professor at Parsons School of Design in NYC, where she teaches in the First Year Program and serves as Special Assistant to the Provost for Learning Portfolios. She has also worked in museum education at the Brooklyn Museum, the Guggenheim Museum, the Museum of Arts and Design and the Museum of Modern Art. Her exhibition sites include NutureArt, Brooklyn, NY; the Rabbithole Gallery, Brooklyn, NY; The Visual Arts Gallery, New York, NY; Tattfoo Gallery, Staten Island, NY; The William-Scott Gallery, Boston, MA; and The New Art Center in Newton, MA.  She has been reviewed online by the blog Hyperallergic, and in print by the Boston Globe, The North Shore Star Reporter and The New York Sun.  She has work in several private collections.  Millington attended the School of Visual Arts for her MFA, and received a BFA from the Massachusetts College of Art.
