On View 2006 - 2007

William Tucker is an internationally-renowned contemporary sculptor, who moved from Great Britain to the United States in 1978 and since 1998 has lived and worked in Ashfield, Massachusetts. Since the 1980s, he has been creating highly abstracted, expressionist images of horses’ heads in drawings, and plaster and bronze sculptures. This exhibition will, for the first time, bring together several works from this ongoing series. Large-scale bronzes will be exhibited outdoors on the Sculpture Terrace. Accompanied by a full-color catalogue. Organized by Director of Curatorial Affairs Rachel Rosenfield Lafo.
