About the Installation

The Trustees presents New Horizon, an artwork installation and series of happenings by artist Doug Aitken. Untethered from a single location, New Horizon traverses the Massachusetts landscape creating dynamic flashpoints for conversation, music, and assembly. These experiences are composed of a series of live events taking place across the state, all centered around a stunning, reflective hot air balloon and gondola that vividly contrasts with the raw and natural settings of New England.

On view at select Trustees properties July 12–28, 2019. Learn more here.
