Artist Dore Gardner will unpack her photograph El Charquito (The Sacred Pool) Espinazo, Nuevo Leon, Mexico, in the exhibition Bodies in Water and talk about the sacred properties of water for the Neuvo Leon people. Additionally, she will talk about the project titled “Niño Fidencio: A Heart Thrown Open” and her experiences learning about Mexican’s most famous 20th century healer, Niño Fidencio.
