Mosaic Jewelry Workshop: Playing with Color (RESCHEDULED TO DECEMBER 11)

This event last occurred on October 3, 2018, 3:30—6 pm.

*This workshop has been rescheduled to December 11, 6:30–9 pm. Click here to register for the new date.*

Explore the possibilities of complimentary colors, monochromatic design, the many moods that colors evoke, or just something beautiful with your favorite colors. Working with a variety of materials, you will make a pendant that tells a story through color.

In a single session, each participant will make a pendant or pair of earrings using glass, stone, and found objects. Glass artist Emily Bhargava will demonstrate and provide personal instruction to learn or advance your mosaic art skills, including glass cutting and nipping, setting tesserae, color tone, setting images behind glass, and incorporating found objects.

All are welcome! No mosaic experience necessary.

All materials will be provided.

This program is part of a series of mosaic jewelry workshops offered this fall. Sign up for one or all three!
