Wednesday, July 11: Creature
Create massive creatures that crawl, fly, burrow, or nest out of boxes and fabric. For inspiration, look to Richard Rosenblum’s wise Venusvine and Nari Ward’s fantastical G.O.A.T.s.

Wednesday, July 25: Sound
Inspired by Paul Matisse’s lyrical Musical Fence, create sculptures that make noise while hanging, or make sounds on the ground.

Wednesday, August 8: Move!
Inspired by George Greenamyer’s Mass Art Vehicle and Dewitt Godfrey’s Lincoln, use a variety of rolling objects to create tracks across a landscape of fabric and cardboard boxes.

Wednesday, August 22: Woodland Forts
Create sculptures and spaces lived in by creatures big or small using boxes, fabric, and natural materials. For inspiration look at the city-like skyline of Richard Long’s Brownstone Circle and Josephine Halvorson’s Measure (Tree).

Rain plan: activities will be held indoors, inspired by the current exhibition Sculpting with Air
