Sensing Place: A Summer Photo Workshop

August 3, 2019, 10 am—12 pm

Photographer and naturalist Cherrie Corey leads an exploration of deCordova's natural and artistic landscape to capture the nuances of the Sculpture Park in the glorious summer season. Create inspirational and memorable images while challenging and strengthening outdoor photography skills.

No photography experience necessary. Participants use their own photographic equipment of any type (smart phones, film, or digital cameras are all okay).

About the Artist
Cherrie Corey’s interpretive perspectives have evolved through more than 25 years of professional museum experience in the Boston area, her formative role in the region’s environmental education initiatives, her passionate lifelong pursuits of natural history study and photography, and her Buddhist studies and practice. Cherrie’s photographs have appeared extensively in both installations and publications for the Concord Museum, the Concord Land Conservation Trust, and Concord’s Department of Natural Resources.
