Volunteer Tour and Registration Assistant

Learning and Engagement Department
Reports to: Tour and Registration Coordinator

Work along-side, and in support of the Tour and Registration Coordinator in the public reception area of the Learning and Engagement Department located in the Carriage House administrative offices.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet guests (representing the department and organization to the public)
  • Aid in the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual reports (MS Excel)
  • Prepare group visit confirmations (MS Word)
  • Maintain all group visit, tour and guide information (MS Excel)
  • Database input
  • Assist with research projects
  • Prepare e-mail correspondence as needed

Requirements:

  • Strong organizational, written, verbal, and computer skills (MS Word and Excel is essential), database experience a plus.
  • Pleasant manner, problem-solving ability, dependability
  • 4-6 hours per week minimum commitment
