Mitchell Rosenzweig

Mitchell Rosenzweig paints abstract images that overflow with layers of chaos. Regardless of the numerous layers, the artist maintains a sense of order and vitality in each piece. The thick surface adds a level of dimension to a two-dimensional piece. The layers become sculptural, adding a new element and bringing the viewer’s eye in deeper, beyond the color.

The artist received a BFA in painting from Penn State University, University Park, PA. He has had a number of group shows in the Northeast including at Denise Bibro Gallery, New York, NY and the Ogunquit Museum of American Art, Ogunquit, ME. He has shown at the Attleboro Museum, Attleboro, MA and the Moses Kent Museum, Exeter, NH.
